Design and build a system to monitor energy consumption measured by third-party multimeters.
THE SOLUTION
On hardware chosen by the client, we built a Linux®-based system to collect data (via Modbus) from several multimeters connected over the LAN. The system gathers the data and transfers it directly to the centralized database in a secure and reliable way (with logic implemented to avoid losing any data). The systems are also interconnected: a dedicated dashboard shows each client's data and lets the client manage the interconnection logic between them.
